Hi,
I got the error while trying to run the demo zkdemo-1.0.1 in Tomcat 5.5.9
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: bsh/UtilEvalError
I followed steps in the instructions:
- Stopped tomcat before deploying the demo.
- Copied dist/lib/*.* to $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/lib
- Had the bsh.jar in $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/lib/ext
It seems that the demo cannot find bsh.jar. So i checked the Environment Variables and set more:
TOMCAT_HOME = D:\Program\Apache\Tomcat 5.5 CLASSPATH = $TOMCAT_HOME1/shared/lib
But I still got that error. Could you help me please? Thanks in advance.

- Had the bsh.jar in $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/lib/ext
bsh.jar must be in $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/lib, not in lib/ext

I had the same problem, but I forgot copy the bsh.jar file to shared/lib directory of tomcat.
Then of copy it, the problem disappear.
I think that you have same problem.
