Hello all,

I'm having trouble getting the timeout to occur because our application polls the server every few minutes for information. The code that triggers this polling is in Javascript.

Do you know of any way to tell ZK that this polling should not affect the session timeout timer?

Thank you. =)

So it's a standard ZK button and you handle things in an onClick listener?

We have a javascript function "press" a hidden button which calls a server-side controller. The javascript function is called with setTimeout().

Sorry, I meant that I updated the first post. Originally, I said I didn't know why the timeout was happening, and posted my zk.xml file. I changed that text to talk about the problem I'm having now.

I still don't know how to fix the problem mentioned in the first post. (Do you know of any way to tell ZK that this polling should not affect the session timeout timer?)

Updated post because now I know why the timeout isn't happening.
