Hello,

we are getting (sadly not reproducible) ZK error messages. It's the orange box with the message "failed to process - addChd -..." and the buttons "redraw" and "close".
Is there a possibilty to suppress this message? It would also helpful to know in which cases this message appear.

ZK Version is 5.0.9 (problem was already existing with 5.0.5).

Thanks and regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Can you still try to create a case that reproduce the issue? It does not need to have a 100% reproduction rate (maybe 30% is good enough), but without even a case it is nearly impossible to know what's wrong.

Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,

thanks for your answer. The easiest way for us would be to suppress this messages without knowing exactly what is wrong.
Only if this is not possible we will try more intensive fo find out what the problem is.

Is there a way to do so?

Regards
Patrick

The message means some components fails to add a child component at client side javascript, so there must be something fundamental going wrong. I would still suggest you figure out the cause, otherwise if you hide the error message you may suffer some malfunction in the app some day and it will be harder to debug then.

I agree that it's always better the causes of errors. But in another situation we are getting a box with

Failed to mount: this.ebody is undefined

and the app runs without problems. At the moment it would be the easiest (and fastest) way to suppress this messages and if we are getting other malfunctions we could still turn them on again.

First we need to know if it is possible at all and if yes then how?

Or is there a possibility to change the design and the text of the error message?
