First time here? Check out the FAQ!
Hi,
I work with iReport 3.0.0 and run ok, but I try to compile same file with iReport 3.5.2/3.6.1 and a result is a empty page (with no records), compile again with 3.0.0 and prints all rows...
I use zk version 3.6.2
any idea?
Thank you
Pedro Gonzalez
i suggest you test your jasper file in iReport.
you can prepare a datasource and test what happens in irepot. if there's nothing display too, it means that your jrxml can't be used in this version, and you have to make another jrxml in this newer version if you want to use this version.
it seems nothing to do with zk.
evpole,
thanks four your time, but I've already done the test to create a jrxml with a new version and print with old version of iReport and print ok. The problem is when I try to use a .jasper created with a new version of iReport. (For now I use the new version to create the file jrxml and then open it with the old version to create the .jasper)
best regards
Pedro Gonzalez
Hi Pedro,
only a hint. I remember that i have big problems with a iReport version that are runing as a Netbeans plugin.
In fact the xml-header of the created files with this version was corrupt.
So i'm going back to the binary iReport version.
best
Stephan
Hi Stephan,
thank you for the hint.
I try with 2 or 3 versions of iReport, but the only version that work fine with zk is 3.0.0 (for me)
strange...
but if I open the file generated with v 3.6.1 in v 3.0.0 and generate a .jasper and then generate a report with zk, run ok.
best regards
Pedro Gonzalez
Yes, I'm back to 3.0.0 too.
Good news
now is Working with iReport 3.7.6
install iReport 3.7.6, modify your report and compile.
and copy this file in your project WEB-INF/lib
remove old jasperreports.jar
best regards
Pedro
Thanks Pedro, for this good news.
