I have developed a website using zk 7. Whenever I run my page in Firefox or Chrome everything loads smoothly but when I use Internet Explorer on version 11 the HTML components are rendered fastly in a first step, then about 1-2 secs later interaction is blocked for like 20 secs while some ongoing process in the background is freezing my browser.

I have pinpointed the delaying code to some function o(s, B, r, A) in zk.wpd, which gets loaded a lot of times when rendering the page. The affected page consists of a huge grid with lots of cells (31 columns * 7 rows, it is a custom calendar-like view of a month) and my guess is that this o function is getting called for each of these cells.

Is this normal behavior? How can I reduce load times on IE?
