Is it possible to upgrade the Jasperreports libraries to version 5.5 from Jaspersoft when we use ZK 6.5.2 PE. Our project does user the <jasperreport> component. Can anyone provider references on how to do this.
I believe ZK 6.5.2 uses Jasperreport 4.5. Jaspersoft has version 5.5. out and would like to use that version.
Thanks, Mike
Yes, it is possible.
I have tried it as below and it works well for me:
Download and import testing project: jasperreport test
Download and extract jasperreport project from sourceforge
Put all jars under jasperreports-5.5.0-project\jasperreports-5.5.0\dist into your classpath
Put required jars under jasperreports-5.5.0\lib into your classpath as needed, I choose commons-beanutils-1.8.0.jar commons-digester-2.1.jar iText-2.1.7.js2.jar poi-3.7-20101029.jar (for export xls)
Put required jars under ZK-6.5.2\dist\lib\ext into your classpath (most of them are for jasperreport, copied them from ZK because they are there) commons-collections.jar commons-logging.jar
And also put other required jars for ZK.
Then it should work.
