Is there any constraint for combobox for validating user input is not in the comboitem / model?

I'm new to zkoss framework, is there any constraint method to check the value when user type in the combobox and when the value changed it automatically check whether the value is in the comboitem or not? or should i make manual validation in onChange listener.

Do your selected (typed) item need's to be in the combobox or can user add something completely different?
