Are Composers placed in HttpSession?

Pretty much a ZK newbie and I have a question about what ZK puts into the HttpSession. I'm running into issues deploying a ZK application on a 2 node cluster with HttpSession replication enabled. The application server (tomcat) tries to replicate the session but I'm getting NotSerializableExceptions all over the place.

So my main question is: Does ZK save Composers in the HttpSession? Basically what all does ZK store in the HttpSession?

ZK 6.5.2 Java 7, Tomcat 7 and 8

Thank you
