ZKCharts - call backend when clicking on legend

Hi there, I'm using ZK Charts and it displays a nice bar graph and legend with coloured blobs that may be clicked upon.

If you click upon them then this removes the data from the graph related to that coloured values. However what I would like to do is actually re-draw the graph without that value. This would potentially mean removing blank columns, etc.

Is there a way to call the backend when the legend is ticked upon?
