upload file with progress meter

Hi,

I've been trying to find a way to connect a file upload with the progressmeter, but without any solution.

In this sample, we can see the upload effect, but it's just a simulation:

I just have seen the following old sample:

Is there any easier way to implement a linke between fileupload button and progressmeter?
