Hello, I integrated Font Awesome sources into my application, but there is still a problem with Internet Explorer 8 which does not load the icons with security option "font download“ disabled. Is there any possibility to display the icons even though the security option is disabled?

A web application cannot override the security settings of a browser. That would be a real no-go.

Font awesome being based on a font, requires the font to be downloaded or already available on the client system.

So either you enable the font download or install it locally on every machine needed.

Otherwise if you need images you can add an image icon to a button only for IE8 as shown in this fiddle.
