Hello, We have recently decided to use ZK for our project, and we have done some development into it, but most of our developer's have written there java code into zul files using ZScript and it works fine currently, but i am concerned about the performance and impact of using zscript's in production environment as i read on (books.zkoss.org/wiki/ZK%20Essentials/Chapter%204:%20Controlling%20Components)
it has issues in performance and clustering environment, we don't recommend to use it in production environment.
I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has actually used zscript's in production environment. it would be nice if you can share your experience and also tell what kind of impact it will have on application over time and if it is a good idea to use it and if we want to separate java code from zul what will be the best and easiest way.
Hi Use ZScript in production environment is not recommend, it will take more time to load a page (compile Java code), and cost more memory, it was used for only quick prototyping.
