why zk framework rather than others?

It is a great framework Because of

(1) easy to learn
(2) very productive
(3) most important
(4) best architecture - it puts MVC,MVVM, databinding, server+client and server-push together elegantly.

No java script, easy to work with, even for junior programmers(a decent junior can code fast in less than a month). Still possible to do java code in the zul. You can do MVC or MVVM. Multiple theme's and in the zk 7 bootstrap is included.

Standing proof to use ZK is me. Just before one year, i am zero in web based application. I have only programming skills in VB, C, etc. But after looking ZK and started working with that, now i am very comfortable in developing web apps.

I would suggest to pick a small project and try to implement using ZK and 2 other frameworks of your choice.

If you find a java web framework more productive than ZK please let me know...
