How to wire Spring bean into ViewModel?

I am trying to use ZK and Spring together...I have the basics working, so within my ViewModel classes I can call SpringUtil.getBean() for example. I want to enhance my code with setter methods so that my Spring beans (DAO for example) are automatically wired into my ViewMode.

I can't find any pointers online to show how to do this. I prefer to use a declarative approach of configuration of Spring beans through applicationContext.xml rather than annotation if possible.

Any help is appreciated!
