Helping others costs much of time. For me as a 'helper' the old forum have big advantages: I have SEEN AT A GLANCE new 'unread threads by the red color' where i can go in and read them. This i have done a few times a day. The new forum works not in that helper friendly way.

I think you have done a good job with user profiles. Now it's easier to find self posts and I think it is great to be able to follow other users. One feature that I think it is very useful and I hoped to find it in this new forum are the private messages between users. Could you think about implementing it?

Great job!

Hey Neus, thanks for your comment, indeed, as it is based on askbot it is not part of the standard suite. However, our team has done heavy customization to it so I will take down your feedback and present to them!

Hey terry, how about the unanswered? Does that not totally fulfil what you need?

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I don't like the new one.

One annoying thing (of many) that hits you straight away - thread titles are too large (font). Now opening the forum shows 5 or 6 threads only. Previous showed 20 or 30 to a page.

But, it's your site, do it as you like, just maybe I won't answer quite as often.

I welcome the efforts to make the forum better. After using it, I'd like to see an adjustment. Mainly, when I browse, I like to view the thread titles quickly and clearly. Two issues that block my desire. 1. The information for votes/answers/views/tags is secondary for me comparing to titles. They take away too much viewing real estate from the thread titles. Adjusting the font size and css styles should help. 2. Widening the browser doesn't help me view thread titles better. Titles that are too long and wrap to second line stay that way no matter how wide the browser is.

Thank you.

Hey Bob, good to hear from you again, hope you are doing well! I will ask the forum team to look into reducing the font size to a more acceptable level in our feedback meeting. All of the feedback is being gathered.
