Vlayout and horizontal align?

I was trying to find a way of setting the horizontal alignment of some components that are inside a 'vlayout' parent, but I couldn't find an 'align' property for vlayout. This is odd since vbox does have an align property.

As vlayout seems to be preferred over vbox, what are my options?

I've been struggling with this for a while too. I ended up with either hlayouts or div as children of vlayout, and set their style='text-align:right/left/...' or flow;right.
It is hit-or-miss. Sometimes both approaches work, sometimes only one works, sometimes neither works, especially when dealing with right-alignment.

Seems like a design oversight to me. The two components should offer the same facilities. I'll post a feature request.
