Hi everyone,

I'm trying to get the Calendar running in my ZK 5.02 EE environment. The calendar screen comes up initially but when I click to either edit an existing event or create a new one, I get a message saying, "g is undefined."

Next, I tried installing the demo.war (version 2.0) and get the same error message. Lastly, I even tried the "zk-calendar-demo-2.0.1-FL-2010-04-20 - (ZK 5)" version to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks!

Todd

P.S. I had this running in version 3.6.x so I'm familiar with the component...

Could you provide some sample code? because it's hard to know what is 'g'.
And which ZK version are you using? except ZK 2.0, I never heard v2.0 of a zkdemo.war before.

Sorry for my miscommunication, iantsai.

I'm running ZK version 5.0.2 Enterprise Edition.

The version 2.0 I refer to is the version of the Calendar component which is the most current. The demo.war file I referred to comes from the zk-calendar-demo-2.0.zip file that can be found on the ZK website: here.

The error happens whenever you try to edit an existing calendar event or add a new one. If I were to hazard a guess, it would be that "g" is a javascript variable that is missing somewhere... I don't think it is my environment since I simply dropped in the demo code and made no changes.

Any insight you have would be great.

Thanks!

Todd

Iantsai,

Thanks very much for doing that. I looked at the tracker and the status indicates that it is fixed. I tried implementing jimmyshiau's code and it does indeed work for create events. Alas, the fix does not resolve the issue for edit events.

Any thoughts?

Thanks again,

Todd
