Hello everybody,

I accidentally saw ZK on googling and i found it amazing.

I know the basics of web programming (HTML and PHP), but not JAVA.

Is it possible to start using the framework? Where should i start?

Do i have to start from JAVA (Please no!!!I find it incomprehensible)

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanx in advance

If you browse through the examples in ZK Live Demo, you can see many things can be done with just zul files and zscript. As you can write many other languages like javascript, Ruby, Groovy, Python in zscript, you can explore the ZK world to a pretty large extent without using Java.

In addition, like vinhvo suggested, it's always a good idea to understand how servlet works.

Simon

Thank you for the replies!!

But i think that i'm lost.

I found an article that says "ZK now speaks Php".

Does that mean that i can use zk with php as server side?

Thanx in advance and sorry for bothering you again.

Yes, I know the article you mentioned. It's contributed by a ZK user. I haven't tried it myself, but maybe you can try to follow the instruction in the article.
