Restricting file formats for fileupload in browse (i.e. before upload)

Hi Friends,
I want to know whether there is way to restrict what file formats can be selected for uploading?
I am using ZK 3.6.1.

I don't think browser will allow us using server-side javascript to do anything to file system.
So, there's nothing you could know inside the file before it is uploaded.
