Long text in tree cell

I am not sure if this has been solved or not. If a tree cell contains long text, it will wrap it, which is undesirable. The intuitive behavior of a tree would be hide the text and expand the tree and let a horizontal bar show up. How to achieve that?
Thanks.

I have the same problem, this was told to me in this forum:

<z:style>
.z-list-cell-cnt, .z-tree-cell-cnt, .z-row-cnt {
white-space:nowrap; }
</z:style>

list, trees a rows (grid) will cut text.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply. But isn't this only cut the text? How can we also make it to resize the width of the tree to trigger a horizontal scroll bar?
