I want to design a zul page with four charts. For each chart, there will be a query to the back end. Is it possible to

  1. execute each query in it's own thread.
  2. Render each chart once the query has executed.

The consequence of the above is that I don't want there to be a delay in loading the zul page. The zul page and other UI components should load as soon as possible. The charts should display as soon as the data has been fetched.

Yes, you can do it with the event queue.

You can create 4 queues to start 4 different long operations. ZK will run the asynchronous listener in a separate thread. Please read the doc to write your own version. If you encounter problems, please post your code here.
