Hi there :-)

I have a textbox within a vlayout, it has 5 rows (textarea, multiline), so it is forbidden to set vflex ("Not allowed to set vflex and rows at the same time").

How can I make the textbox grow and shrink vertical flexible with resizing its parent (or the window)?

(I am using ZK 9.5.0)

simple answer is: don't set the rows attribute an just use vflex="1"

  <vlayout height="100%">
    <!-- textbox takes remaining space between before an after-->
    <textbox vflex="1" multiline="true"/>

is there a reason why you need to set both?

Thank you for your fast response! We fill it by Java in a row-by-row way, so it has to be a multiline component, BUT I can omit the rows. Thank you very much, sometimes you only have to take a step back to see the solution ;-)
