Hi,

I want use the automatic file open feature of Firefox, which opens a file without asking for confirmation. For that to work one has to set the correct Mime Type. The Zk filedownloader however adds an chraset=UTF-8 tag, which is inappropiate for raw files (e.g. it should be application/vnd.ms-excel, but gets application/vnd.ms-excel;charset=UTF-8). Even setting the encoding in AMedia doesnt change this behaviour. Is there any way to make autmatic opening of downloaded files working with firefox?

Thanks

currently this feature doesn't exist so I posted the Feature request: ZK-4418

Update (2020-11-17): ZK-4418 -> 9.5.1

Setting the library property org.zkoss.zul.Filedownload.contentTypeAsIs to false will responde with the content-type as provided - and encode text/string based (non-binary) downloads accordingly.
