How to integrate Highcharts Maps with ZK Framework?

ZK Framework supports Highcharts out of the box. Unfortunately the support does not include HighCharts Maps. Is it possible to integrate Highcharts Maps with ZK? How can I achieve this?

I was able to create a webapp based on the ZK framework which renders charts by utilizing the build-in support for Highcharts. Now I also want to render some maps. Can someone give me some sample code?

Here are some hints :

initialize highmaps with javascript
fire an event to a zk controller to notify a server
register a command on zAu.cmd1 and invoke that command with AuInvoke in java, so that you can control a highmap from the server-side
