For instance: if you set the date 23 Aug 2045 then it becomes 23 Aug 1945

Your title/description are slightly contradicting. 100 vs 1000 years, and you didn't provide an example datebox showing this issue. (so please correct/complete your information, if my response is not helpful, also your ZK version might be relevant).

Your issue sounds related to ZK-4235, which contains a reproducing case, do you encounter the same?

The best way to work with dates is to specify a 4 digit year yyyy in the format string. In case of a 2 digit year yy, the year value has to be auto-completed internally. Years above 30 are then interpreted as 19xx. (Which can be configured since ZK 8.6.2).

Do you use 2 digit years?
