Is it possible to set the border lines and background colors for a cell within a grid?
For example, I want a cell in a grid to represent a total. Hence, I would like to have the top edge and bottom edge of the cell to have a heavy line border to highlight that this is cell is different from the cells above it.

If your grid is more complicated, you need to render the cell of total a bit different from others, so that you can easily locate it with CSS selector, e.g. specify id or sclass attribute.
Or put total in a footer.
