After adding ZK to pom, / now gives 404 index.zul not found

First time posting here so I hope you can help

I have an existing Spring MVC project I wanted to add ZK too. I've got that working fine and my Controllers which route to zul files render perfectly. Unfortunately after adding ZK to my pom file my requestmapping annotation for "/" no longer works. My homepage which worked previously now says:

HTTP Status 404 - /index.zul

I haven't made any changes to my web.xml or anything, just added ZK to my pom.

Any advice how to stop this behaviour
