how to add an inline row in a grid.

Hi,

i want to add an inline row to a grid containing text boxes, on the click of a button. what i tried so far:

1. Adding a special row just before the template.that didn't work.
2. create a new row on the click of a button and append the required components to the row and then add the row to the model.This also is not working.

Any help be appreciated.
