In Zk there is any interface with getValue to be able to customize calls to Datebox like this

final GetValueInterface clazz = datebox or intbox here;
clazz.getValue();

Thanks a lot.

Hello javiut,

I believe it would be a lot easier to create your own abstraction layer in order to accomplish your task.

Keep in mind that every input component's getValue() method returns its corresponding type. For example, Textbox returns String , and Intbox returns Integer.

Best Regards,

Darksu

Datebox/Intbox/Textbox... share the same abstract base class InputElement which has a getRawValue() method.

Using this you can retrieve the value as java.lang.Object but you have to cast it manually.
