I am just following this URL to customize component
BUT window.css.dsp is not created. Please help

you cannot check this without any error message!
At time it costs about 4x more time to work with zk less. I have now spent a lot of time to evaluate all the new releases. It's very frustrating.
Please correct the variable name @grayDrak to @grayDark. Next please give the @meshStripeBackground variable a new name, because it's the same as in bootstrap. What i'm absolute missing is the mapping table which bootstrap variable corresponds to zk less variable. I have at time only 60% evaluated.

The LESS files need to be complied to *.css.dsp first. ZK introduces a ZK-Less Compiling Engine in Node.js Environment, you can refer the blog or the document or more details. Thanks.
Yes i followed all the steps in Compile LESS to DSP during Development phase, but it is not creating the DSP File

As the log show, the ZKLessServlet have compiled the Less files to the deploy folder.
So the *css.dsp should be founded in F:\MyDocuments\Java\ZK7Examples\Examples\ZK7Theme1.metadata.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\tmp0\wtpwebapps\ZKExampleTheme\less\
I think the style should be changed when modify LESS and reload the browser. If it still does not work, please check if the compiled css.dsp in the deploy folder are blank or not. Thanks.
you are absolutely right. But the documentation says it will be available on the same folder.
So i got confused.
i can find the file in the above said folder. As you said, the file window.css.dsp does not have any content in it . So what will be the problem ?
You must look in the generated jar file. There you can evalutae the folder wehere is it in.

Hi,
The zkless-servlet seems to have some problems. The current workaround is update the version to 0.9.4.2:

and put the ZK header files including _header.less, _zkmixins.less and _zkvariables.less, in the same folder. Those file could be found in zk-archetyoe-theme project

I tried as per your instructions. Now window.css.dsp File created on the same folder. But it is zero bytes. And do not see any changes in the Component.

If the LESS compiled failed, the result would be empty without any error message.
So it needs to make sure that LESS should not cause any parsing error.
Please change your import path in window.less from @import "~./zul/less/_header.less"; to @import "_header.less";.
And it seems that some variables you used in window.less are not defined. Please update the _zkvariables.less to _zkvariables.less.
After that, I think it should work.
