Q: At moment am I right in understanding that the zk calendar does not support layouts, other than day,week,month? Im looking to use the calendar in an existing zk project , but would need to be able to support a 3 month type layout (quarter), and a yearly layout where days line up If not supported, is there scope to take google code of calendar and enhance?

Maybe with a custom renderer you can do the trick. You can see here an example of customization but example is only colors.(Not yet tried so sorry if this can't help you) http://books.zkoss.org/wiki/ZKComponentReference/Input/Calendar#Customization
