How do you upgrade Adempiere to use ZK7

Hello

Does Compiere / Adempiere have any mainstream support yet?
I thought they were around abandoned state since years
I have two customers (small businesses) which I had to convert to another product two years ago, because of total lack of support.

Anyway, back to upgrading ZK...
Upgrading from ZK5-ZK6 to ZK7 could be straightforward as well as totally painful.
It depends on which features have been used.
There where very little changes in ZK APIs to existing classes/methods and you can close an eye about new features. Some changes where in HTML/CSS (say z-window-cnt --> z-window-content, ecc...)

For each ZK release, there is a release notes document like this:

At the end of the release notes document, you will see a "Upgrade Notes" section.
What I reccomend to you, is to upgrade the project by EACH minor ZK release, up to 7.0.3, and apply changes as per "Upgrade Notes".
It is difficult to say how many changes the code needs.
Could be zero (way too lucky to be true...) to many hundreds.
