IE 10 grey background on menuitem after click

With IE 10, after clicking on a menuitem in a menupoup, the popup closes. But the next time it's opened, the grey background that was added by IE for the link (added on during click time) is still there.

Click sequence: "File", "Open", (close dialog), "File"

Result: Open is still grayed as it would be still clicked.

My solution is:

.z-menupopup a:active {
    background-color: transparent; 
} 

Is this a bug thats maybe solved better within ZK?
