install spreadsheet in tomcat

this will be my first encounter using tomcat, i know the instruction is easy enough to follow, but i really cant get this thing work.

TOMCAT is up and running, im just a little confused as to what files goes to where?

so i have a folder tomcat/webapps/root

created a folder for zss /zss

downloaded zss-app-2.5.0.zip then extract files into tomcat/webapps/root/zss

then go localhost:8080/zss/

but it gives me a page with HTTP Status 404 - /zss/

can someone please enlighten
