What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of Global Command?

for me this is the case :

Advantage :

• You reach everything in the asked scope.
• You can give arguments with it(for the bindingparam).

Disadvantage :

• Sometimes you have same name in different VM that doesn't needed to be called.
• If you need this you must also ask yourself the question that is your code at the correct place. It can be, but I guess in most case a nicer solution is there.
