Placeholder not working in ie9

As the title suggests, the following doesn't work in Internet Explorer 9:

<textbox placeholder="My placeholder"/>

It would be great to see this with cross-browser functionality.

Hi Richard,

The placeholder attribute is only working for browsers that support HTML 5 (IE9 is not included).
Please post feature request for IE 9 and old IE.

There is a workaround. You can use the watermark library like this:

Yes, I was using that before ZK introduced Placeholder. I might have to go back to that in the meantime...
