Uploading the XLS , PDF

Hi all,
I want to upload an excel sheet or PDF file and I want to upload it to server on particular location.
I saw the example code for the image but I didn't see any inbuilt support for PDF/XLS.
Can you please suggest how can I achieve it?

There shouldn't be a difference whether it is an image or PDF or other type of documents. You should get a Media object, which you can then read and save it to your desired location.
