Filedownload not working on iOS devices

Hello,

I have a ZK application that includes some exports of Excel reports. I am using Filedownload to make the file available to the user for downloading. I just noticed this features does not work on iOS devices (iPhone/iPad). Simply pressing the "Download" button does not do anything.

I tested on an iPad in Safari and Chrome browsers and there is the same behaviour.

In fact, going from iPad to the Filedownload page from ZK Demo site ( http://www.zkoss.org/zkdemo/file_handling/file_download ) I noticed the same behaviour: tapping on "Download sun.jpg" button does nothing, so it seems it's a general bug of Filedownload utility on iOS devices.

Can anyone help on this?

For reference, I'm using ZK 5.0.9. But if I found the same bug even on ZK Demo site, it means it's present even in ZK 6.

By the way, I tried to test the Filedownload ZK demo page even from an Android phone and it's not working either.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunatelly the project where I'm having this issue is a bit old and migration to ZK 6 is not so easy to do (due to the project's complexity and some lack of time).

It's good to know the bug has been solved anyway in the newest ZK version (I see in the ZK Demo site it is still present, but maybe that site does not use the latest ZK version yet).

Is there any progress on this issue? I have tested on an iPad (iOS version 7.0.4), with version 7.0.1 and downloads still do not work. The filedownload example on the zk demo page does not work either.
