Comboitems with image

Hi,
I create a combobox whose items do not have labels only images. (I followed this example http://www.zkoss.org/zkdemo/combobox/simple_combobox to set the images).
The problem is that when an item is selected the combobox shows nothing because it only shows labels.
Is there a way to show the image of the selected item?
