Hi,
With each release we update the application.properties file. Which is kept at <project-root>.
this properties file has one entry.
- release-version =3.2.01

And in the application's index.zul we have to show the versionNumber but currently for each release we are hardcoding.
Is there any way by which i can get it dynamically?

Thanks in advance.

I can help you, but I've got two questions:

1. Where exactly in the resulting WAR file is application.properties? Package a WAR, open it with a zip file application and tell me the exact location of the file.
2. Do you by any chance use Google Guava in your project? (if you do, this will be a lot easier)
