A recent article contains few slides on how to develop a custom ZK component to integrate with Openlayers.

Hi, DrFrank:
I think ZK is designed to be a general purpose RIA UI framework; it doesn't tailor itself for GIS field.

How do you know many people are interested in ZK?

Hi Jumper Chen,

Thanks. Amazing, this is what many are (at least, I am) long waiting for. I will check out and try in action from git repo soon.

Again, thanks for implementing it.

Hi Jumperchen,

I am using your great example of OpenLayers.......I compiled it and it works like a charme.

The only thing I am missing is the possibility to obtain the Lng Lat when I am
clicking the map.

I know it has to be this method

map.getLonLatFromPixel(e.xy);

But I can not figure it out to implement it into the library you provided. :-(

Could you provide me with an example, I need the GeoPos ServerSide

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the late answer but I was really caught up in some other projects.

I actually managed to obtain the LatLng with the OpenLayers Javascript by using Au.send. looks like a hack but it works like a charme. I can now send LatLng from JS to Java and backwards.

If someone wants the code let me know.....Then I will post it here over the weekend

Greedings,

   Patrick
