the browser let me enter a character in a longbox:

I dont understand why.

I've just tested your code in the ZK-Demo and it works without problems (I cannot enter any character). So you should provide more infos:
- Which ZK-Version?
- Which Browser (with exact version)?
- Does a simple page (<zk><longbox .../></zk>) work for you?
