Iframe over window IE8

I have an iframe that opens when I select a item in a window. That window is open with doModal().
When I open an item, and then open again to select another modal, the modal is below the iframe.
I've tried to set z-index and use other types of model to open the window (doEmbedded, doPopup, doHighlighted), but did not work.

This situation occurs only in IE (I tested in IE8). In firefox only the border is hidden by the iframe.

Any tips?
