Ok , i think i am feed up now. After fixing dependencies...now when Weld tries to bootstrap the ZKWeldBoostrapBean...the following exception is thrown...
Deployment "vfs:///home/cirix/Programs/jboss-6.0.0.Final/server/default/deploy/3/mcube-console.war_WeldBootstrapBean" is in error...: java.lang.RuntimeException: Service class org.zkoss.cdi.weld.spi.ZKWeldExtension didn't implement the Extension interface, **ERROR** Deployment "java:global/cdi/mcube-console/mcube-console/BeanManager" is in error due to the following reason(s): ** NOT FOUND Depends on 'java:global/cdi/mcube-console/mcube-console/BeanManager' **
Hi henrichen...tonight i will try to debug it again with the sources of JBoss 6 AS final But let me tell you that using Spring for CDI and creating custom annotations qualifiers did the trick
for me....I think something is wrong in the implementation of th zk cdi. I will try it once i am home from work and around 24:00 CET i will post my results there.

Dear henrichen,
i have added the bug tracker the problem with several files attached. A simple war pom thing and on class + on page can easily reproduce errors in jboss 6.0 as final. ....i think we can make it of high importance even though jboss guys say that for example in 6.0.1 the jboss will ship with wel 1.1.0 final which will have no peculiar dependencies, aka slf4j. Waiting for your feedback
Ok henrichen, today i plan on making a configuration test with glashfish cause i have a hanch that something is wrong with jboss also.....anticipating 5.0.6
