I'm new to ZK and ZK Studio.

I just downloaded and installed Eclipse Helios (Build id: 20100617-1415).

Following the instructions, I installed the ZK Studio w/in Eclipse via:

http://studioupdate.zkoss.org/studio/update

I'm getting this error:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: ZK Studio Eclipse Plugins 0.9.6.v200912041237 (org.zkoss.eclipse.feature.group 0.9.6.v200912041237)
Missing requirement: ZK Studio Storage Plug-in 0.9.6.v200912041237 (org.zkoss.eclipse.zks 0.9.6.v200912041237) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.ui 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: ZK Studio Eclipse Plugins 0.9.6.v200912041237 (org.zkoss.eclipse.feature.group 0.9.6.v200912041237)
To: org.zkoss.eclipse.ve [0.9.6.v200912041237]
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: ZK Studio Visual Editor Plug-in 0.9.6.v200912041237 (org.zkoss.eclipse.ve 0.9.6.v200912041237)
To: bundle org.zkoss.eclipse.zks 0.0.0

Does ZK currently no longer work with Eclipse and if so, what's missing from the instructions?

Thanks,
Stephen

Ok, figured out you must use Eclipse for Java EE.

Now, when creating a ZK Project, I can't because I see this message, w/in the first ZK Project wizard page:

ZK Supports 1.0 requires Dynamic Web Module with version matching expression "2.3,2.4,2.5".

Any clues?

Thanks,
Stephen

1.Here's the point.

Missing requirement: ZK Studio Storage Plug-in 0.9.6.v200912041237 (org.zkoss.eclipse.zks 0.9.6.v200912041237)
requires 'bundle org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.ui 0.0.0' but it could not be found

And you can just install WTP if you are not using eclipse for J2EE .

2.There is a dropdown list for dynamic web module version in new ZK project wizard , just select one and click next.

I switched to using eclipse for J2EE but now I'm seeing this issue when trying to create a new ZK Project:

ZK Supports 1.0 requires Dynamic Web Module with version matching expression "2.3,2.4,2.5".

As I have mentioned , just select one in the wizard.

Here is the snapshot for it.

I've done what you've suggested. There's still a problem. Here are the screenshots:

It still doesn't work but I have to move on. There are other frameworks up for consideration that our team has to review and unfortunately, this one has failed the 10 minute setup test by a long shot.

Thanks all for the help.

I am sorry to hear that , good luck.

And for your questions, you just need to select one of 2.3 ,2.4 ,2.5 instead of "3.0" , as the error message said.

Hi,

next time, you must read the prerequest.
Helios is not listet as suported enviroment.

Do the same with eclipse 3.5.
