Hi,

i am using ZK 3.6.3 and IE8 with one single ZUL page. Inside my ZUL page i have multiple Tabs, Listboxes and Databinders as well as Database access.
The application runs great with Firefox3.5 and Chrome. In IE8 i receive, from time to time, the "A script on this page is causing ie to run slowly" message.
Is this a normal behaviour through the lack of JavaScript Performance in IE8 or are there any tweaks how i can imporve the performace of my application?

Best regards

IE8 is supposed to have some improvements in JS execution speed but it does not appear to be as fast as Chrome. It's possible it may be as much a rendering performance problem as JavaScript. If your page has lots of components and in particular "stretchy" layout, IE can be very slow at rendering it. Since the rendering is called via JS updating the page, IE could be blaming the script.
