@Peter the problem was due to the fact in the version >= 9.10 the guys have upgraded the gtk+ library something that Eclipse folks didn't take into account so you had for example buttons not working in the onClick event but if you navigated using Tab and press Space or Enter it was either working || crashing. But after the gallileo rc2 the problem was fixed and for sure doesn't exist in helios version. I have download though and use
the helios version of the IDE and i like alot the Eclipse Marketplace feature. For me installing zk plugin worked for the online installation.

Yes, i was install JasperAssistant_3.1.0_Eclipse3.x.zip, and there were no problems.

Did you installed other eclipse pluging with Debian and eclipse 3.5 before?
Was it successful?

I haven't installed with debian+eclipse+zkstudio before.
But the last time I install ubuntu + eclipse + zk studio, there is some issue between ubuntu9.10 and eclipse 3.5
therefore, has to "export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1"

Hi, I have the same problem. My OS is Debian 5.0.3 i386, jdk 6 and eclipse 3.5 Java EE, how I can resolve this problem, I try online y local installation.

Sorry problem solved. We had eclipse for PHP on our system. If we take eclipse for Java EE problem is solved.

Can you tell us your environment?
os? jdk version? eclipse version?

I've downloaded it and installed it local. But with the same result.
