I have been worked with zk in a chat project. I used zk version 3.0.4 but I had problem with Desktop, sometimes it didn't activate, I sent messages and everybody received but I didn't receive it. I thought to update zk version 3.6.1 to resolve this problem. The chat worked correctly in Firefox, but in IE 8 showed the message: "Server failed to process your request. Try again? 467: Incomplete request", and my message wasn't sent. This problem happened with buttons, menubar and toolbarbutton. I tested in others tools that we developed, but all had the same problem. I tested with zk version 3.5.2 too but this problem continued. It is a bug? The zk version 3.6.1 and 3.5.2 works correctly in IE 8?

Thanks

I think that ZK current doesn't support IE 8.

Let hear from ZK Team.

It is urgent that IE 8 be supported, since IE Family is always the most bad browser however most used :-)

ZK is now runing in IE7-compatible mode automatically in IE8. And, we will support IE8 native mode in ZK 5.

When will ZK 3.6.3 be released? I see a fix of the memory leak of IE. It is important to my project.

@sousa1981, agree IE the most bad browser, slow and buggy. But, my clients always used IE to test first.

IE+ZK= PROBLEMS

my application run great on chrome and firefox and Opera 10. In IE 7 and 8 there are problems!

1) With ColumnLayout and portal layout the result is ERROR onsize _with not found or not an object

2) I remove layout and this resolve problem 1 but SOMETIMES (bad word in debugging phase of a project) events dont fires and only in a right region of my portal!

3) today I download and try new 3.6.2 and BOOOM NEW ERROR! obviusly ONLY in Internet explorer: "Failed to invoke zkCal.init"

I'm not sure if ZK is ready for production environment! This is not a beta version

@acirasa

Hi acirasa.
If the problem always happened in some regions, maybe their structure has building by a wrong way or some
components cause this iisue. Could you please give us some sample code or just tell us which way can duplicate
the problem?

We will never say our project can support any browser without bugs, but we are glad to heard user's feedbacks,
then we can fixed it and deploy a better version for users.

Regards
/Joy

@acirasa, The bug you mentioned seems to be this. It happens to 3.6.3 freshly only. Please notice that 3.6.3 is in developing (the regression test is not done yet).
