1.signup an wiki account, and login.
2.visit the page
3.edit the section of ZK_Framework
4.add an overturn comment at the bottom of the page, and provide any reference to ZK.

Regards,
Robbie

Robbie,
I don't think there's much chance of keeping the ZK article in its current form in Wikipedia. While we all love ZK, the article doesn't demonstrate its "notability" as it is written. I suggest you ask an administrator to move the deleted article to your user page so folks can work on it and then resubmit it once you've demonstrated it's "notability". Aervanath is an admin who suggested this approach. First create your user page and then ask for "userfication" on his/her user talk page.
Scott

I notice there is no mention of ZK in the following Wikipedia articles:
Ajax
Ajax framework
Web application framework
I will add some brief references where it seems to fit. The Ajax article doesn't mention any frameworks so it's probably not appropriate there.

There is mention of ZK in the comparison of web application frameworks article but the link is now dead since ZK article was deleted. Interestingly there are perhaps a hundred other frameworks of notability no greater than ZK's listed there whose articles have NOT been deleted. No one claims that Wikipedia is fair but perhaps those other articles should also be considered for deletion.

I opened a discussion to review the ZK article deletion here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_Review. Look for it under "12 May 2009".

I do not recommend anyone participate who has not contributed to Wikipedia in the past. It makes ZK look worse and less notable if we cannot find current Wikipedia contributors to speak up for it. The best thing to address this is to get a list of articles and books written by non-Potix folks since the lack of external articles seems to be a major objection to keeping the Wikipedia article. I see that a similar approach was used at the end of April so maybe this is doomed to fail also. However, there are hundereds, perhaps thousands of other software articles that have not been deleted. Why is ZK singled out?

Hi sreed, frankly speaking, we had a quite bad experience during this restoration, those admins know nothing about AJAX, and the way of judgment is lousy, by a small groups who had contributed wikipedia. Not sure if the policy could be improved in the future. Or we have to check this page regularly.

Hi Robbie
I think that there is a significant difference what users and admins think about wikipedia. Most people use wikipedia alongside Google to find relevant information about _any_ topic but most admins look on wikipedia as a traditional encyclopedia with limited volume. I think that even to introduce a "notability rating" would be a better solution than deleting articles. But even for this there should be a group of competent contributors reviewing relevant topics so decision could be made by people really understanding the subject and its environment (this did not seem the case in the deletion process of ZK).
As I see the only way to make ZK notable according to the present rules of wikipedia is to invest into marketing/hype generation to make sure that ZK has "significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources". Without it the deletion process can be started again in the future by any wikipedia admin (regardless of the virtues of ZK) and there might not be another admin around who will stand by ZK. I know that this investment needs money but in case of the biggest companies providing high level of support for media coverage might also work (just an idea I do not know what is possible). (Or spreading rumours that IBM/Oracle/etc wants to by ZK to get into the news.. or finding "ZK-friendly" wikipedia admins ;-)
I also think that it would be a good idea to show exactly who is using ZK for what. There are big names like Toyota, Telstra and T-Systems on the list but it is not mentioned what they use ZK for. Even if only one department uses it or they are still in the process of planning/development I think that that list would look more serious with that stated.
Best Regards
tomg
