Hi all, need your help and advice.

I noted a doc http://docs.zkoss.org/wiki/How_to_Secure_User%27s_Password_with_Encryption
has a example to make a textbox encrypted with MD5 with javascript.

Is it possible to make all zk window (whole page data) to communicate with server in https protocol?

I don't think this has anything to do with Zk. You need to set up your web application server to deploy the application over SSL.

Thank you Daryl. I am checking the links to setup SSL in Glassfish.

Normally the user will only type url simple as www.abc.com then will use normal http protocol. If I put a http zk window as front page and then how can I re-direct all other pages (window) in https protocol?

I develop in a Richlet environment. My service(page) method authorizes the URL and redirects to https if necessary. If your site requires a login, you could add code in the same place (that you check to see if the user is logged in) that checks for https. I suppose you might have a ZUL page that is included in all others and does the same thing. The only ZUL work I do is for posting to this forum when things don't work as expected...

Thank you again. I am new and a beginner in zk and java. Can you give detail code portion?

Supposed I have a front page (normal index.zul), and click "login" to re-direct to login.zul using https, and later all zul page to use https too. How to write the re-direct code in index.zul?

Thanks a lot.

I'm afraid I can't help you with specifics. I have a fairly sophisticated framework that has a data structure of URL objects along with authorization levels such as "regular user" and "administrator". The framework pulls an object out of the session space that represents the user. The user object implements an interface that allows for checking if the user is logged in, what authentication tokens it has and so on. Every request is authorized before the page is run.

Thanks for help.
I found to redirect to another page, use :-
Executions.sendRedirect("login.zul");

But how to specify the https protocol for that redirected zul page?

Check the API docs for HttpServletRequest. It will help you build up the full URL.
